This framework involves identifying the key results or differences that the Board seeks to achieve or influence on behalf of its stakeholders, and ensuring that financial and staff resources are aligned accordingly. This framework has led to the development of the YWCHSB’s inaugural Risk Management Framework. An underlying theme of the YWCHSB’s successful approach has been the adoption of change management principles to influence organizational culture.
In concert with the results-based management framework, currently working with senior executives to identify improvements in how the organization makes, implements and monitors strategic decisions. This work is leading to the development of a Results-Based Corporate Governance Policy. Have also developed a program evaluation and quality assurance framework for the YWCHSB, and have led several staff-based workshops on model implementation.
Leading several internal process re-engineering teams to identify improvements to efficiency, accountability and customer service. Key elements of this responsibility include the development of a work process methodology, facilitating internal work discussions and presenting progress reports to Executive Committee.

Senior Advisor and Chair, Results-Based Management Steering Committee
Yellowknife, Northwest TerritoriesLed an executive team that designed and implemented the NWT Region’s results-based governance and performance management framework. This work led to an in-depth review of the Region’s governance processes and structures. Worked with senior executives to examine improvements in how the Region made decisions, culminating in the development of its inaugural Results-Based Corporate Governance Policy.
Led several internal process re-engineering teams to identify improvements to efficiency, accountability and customer service. Key elements of this responsibility include the development of a work process methodology, facilitating internal work discussions and presenting progress reports to Senior Executive Committee.
Acted as a “strategic consultant” to the GNWT/DIAND Shared Management Agreement Committee, which led to the identification of opportunities for the Federal Government and the Government of the Northwest Territories to work closely to reduce overlap and duplication in the provision of public services.
