Jobboom Inc. has engaged 4FMV Inc to provide the technology and services of JobboomPigistes.com (The Site).
We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This policy (together with our terms and conditions) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.
Protection of Personal Information

Information we may collect from you
We may collect and process the following data about you:
- Information that you provide by filling in forms on our site www.jobboompigistes.com and other affiliate sites to which access may be granted. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use the Site, when subscribing to our Featured Member service, when posting material or when requesting further services. We may also ask you for information when you enter a competition or promotion, or when you report a problem with our site.
- Information that you provide in correspondence or other communications e.g. by mail, fax, e-mail or telephone. Please note that e-mail correspondence is not secure. Please do not sent sensitive information such as credit card details or passwords via e-mail.
- We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.

IP addresses and cookies
We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.
For the same reason, we may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer's hard drive. They help us to improve The Site and to deliver a better and more personalised service. They enable us:

We may also use such aggregate information to help advertisers reach the kind of audience they want to target (eg. number of IT Freelancers/Professionals in Toronto). We may make use of the personal data we have collected from you to enable us to comply with our advertisers' wishes by displaying their advertisement to that target audience.
Disclosure of your information
We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries.
We may disclose your personal information to third parties:
- For the purpose of providing our services as an employment business or an employment agency information will be disclosed to registered Clients of this site.
- Legal: If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms and conditions and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of JobboomPigistes, our customers , users, or others. A request that we no longer collect or use your information, may mean that we will no longer have practical means to provide you with our services or products. - If you withdraw your consent to the disclosure of personal information that you have previously authorized us to share with others, they may already have retained a copy of your Resumé or such personal information in their own systems and databases.
Access, accuracy and updates to information
PIPEDA gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the PIPEDA.
- We will take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is as accurate, complete and up-to-date as is appropriate for its purposes and to minimize the possibility that inappropriate information may be used to make a decision about you.
- The Site provides you with the means to access, update, edit and delete certain personal information you have provided to us at any time on your own. We ask that you regularly log in to the site and update your personal information and in particular your contact information and availability to ensure its accuracy.
- You can update your Resumé at any time by logging on to the site and making the required changes.
- You may similarly contact us to address errors or omissions relating to your personal information by emailing email@example.com. JobboomPigistes does not share your identifiable personal information with any third party without your consent.
- If you decide at any time that you do not want to receive any updates to which you have subscribed, you can log in to the site and change your personal preferences or email a request to firstname.lastname@example.org indicating your preference not to receive updates.
- Upon request made in writing, JobboomPigistes will inform you of the existence, use and disclosure of your personal information, at minimal or no cost to you, in accordance with processes and procedures that we have put in place for such requests.
