What is JobboomPigistes?

JobboomPigistes is an online services marketplace. Clients use it to find contractors, consultants, freelancers and professionals in any industry and sector.

How does it work?

JobboomPigistes is classified as an ‘employment business’.

We provide Clients with access to information about contractors and consultants, Freelancers/Professionals, throughout the country, working in any industry and profession.

JobboomPigistes provides two service models: contract staffing (JobboomPigistes Hourly) and project bidding (JobboomPigistes Fixed-Price).

JobboomPigistes Hourly is based on skills – Clients select the skills they are interested in, and can then quickly find Freelancers/Professionals who have those skills. Anyone using the site can view the brief description, skills and hourly rate of all the Freelancers/Professionals registered on the site. Contact details are only released with the Freelancer’s/Professional's permission.

JobboomPigistes Fixed-Price is based on bidding – Companies can post projects, compare bids and bidders and select the most appropriate bid for their needs. Canadian contractors can search and bid on projects.

How does a Client find a Freelancer/Professionals

For a Client to get to the stage of agreeing to a contract with a Freelancer/Professional, they must:

• be registered & logged in;
• have agreed to our Terms and Conditions;
• have set up a project (Hourly or Fixed-Price).

They can either Invite Bids to the Fixed-Price project or search for Freelancers/Professionals, create shortlists, obtain contact information and agree to the contract terms. What does it cost to register?

It costs nothing for Clients and Freelancers/Professionals to register.

How does JobbooomPigistes make its money?

We charge an industry-beating management fee applied on top of the hourly rate or on top of the fixed-price bid set by the individual Freelancer/Professional. JobboomPigistes provides invoicing, credit control, contracts, timesheets, marketing, development and customer services for this fee – as well as a guarantee to Freelancers/Professionals that they will be paid for contracts they gain through JobboomPigistes, no matter when JobboomPigistes is paid by the Client.

The Freelancers/Professionals rates that Clients see include our management fee, so there are no hidden costs or charges for our services.

What is odc.jobboompigistes.com?

«odc.jobboompigistes.com» has exactly the same functionality as «jobboompigistes.com», but offers special, discounted Freelancer/Professional rates to registered charities. All Freelancers/Professionals on JobboomPigistes have the option to offer charities a percentage reduction on their usual hourly rate.
